Vegan Bolognese

Yes! Believe it! It’s Vegan & Bolognese!

Now you can enjoy your favorite pasta, with no regrets! You need only vegetables, pasta & a good wine! Let’s start!

Vegan Bolognese


  • 1 kg linguini
  • 250 gr mushrooms
  • 1 onion
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 8-10 olives
  • 250 gr. vegetable stock / or water
  • 500 gr. tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • salt & peppers
  • parsley
  • basil
  • bay leaves
  • olive oil


  1. For pasta: you put water and salt in big pot and bring to a boil, add linguini and boil for about 7-8 minutes.
  2. For the sauce: you cut all vegetables in small pieces. In a pan with olive oil, saute mushrooms, carrots, onion, olives and garlic for a while. When all vegetables are soft, put red wine and then, add the tomato sauce, paste, stock or water. Add all spices into sauce and let it boil for about 20 minutes.
  3. When the sauce is ready, serve the pasta, cover it with the vegan bolognese and garnish with basil & parsley!
